2. Purpose of the website

The website provides information about Maison Helvetia, its holiday-property support and management services, properties presented by Maison Helvetia, and experiences in and around Grächen. Website content is general information and does not constitute a binding offer unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Enquiries, bookings and contracts

Submitting a contact form, sending an email or asking about a property does not itself create a booking or contract. A contract arises only after the relevant terms, price, availability and services have been expressly confirmed by Maison Helvetia, the property owner or the relevant booking platform.

For a holiday booking, the booking confirmation, house rules, cancellation terms, price and any platform terms form part of the agreement. For property owners or business clients, the separate written service or management agreement takes precedence over these Website Terms.

Where a booking or payment is completed through Airbnb or another third-party platform, that platform's terms, cancellation rules and privacy policy also apply. Maison Helvetia is not responsible for the operation, availability or payment systems of a third-party platform.

4. Information, prices and availability

We take reasonable care to keep descriptions, photographs, prices, links and availability accurate. Nevertheless, content may change and errors may occur. Unless a booking has been confirmed, displayed availability, prices and property details are not guaranteed. Obvious errors do not bind Maison Helvetia. Images may be illustrative and minor changes to furnishings or services may occur.

5. Permitted use

You may use this website only for lawful, personal or legitimate business purposes. You must not interfere with its security or operation, introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or copy content systematically, submit false or misleading information, impersonate another person, or use the website in a way that infringes the rights of Maison Helvetia or others.

6. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website, texts, branding, logo, layout, photographs and other content are owned by or licensed to Maison Helvetia and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and print limited extracts for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, publication, modification, commercial use or distribution requires prior written permission. Rights in third-party materials remain with their respective owners.

7. External links

The website may link to Airbnb, tourism providers, social networks and other external websites. These links are provided for convenience. Maison Helvetia does not control or endorse all external content and is not responsible for its accuracy, availability, security or privacy practices.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Maison Helvetia is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on general website information. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free access.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Liability connected with an actual booking or service is governed by the applicable booking confirmation or separate contract and mandatory law.

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By choosing optional cookies, you consent to their use as described there; you may change your choice at any time.

10. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the website and may update these Terms. The version published at the time of use applies to that use. Changes do not alter an already confirmed booking or contract unless separately agreed or legally required.

11. Severability

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced as closely as legally possible to reflect its purpose.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules, the courts competent for Grächen, Canton of Valais, Switzerland, have jurisdiction. Mandatory rights available to consumers in their country of residence remain unaffected.

In the event of inconsistency between language versions, the German version prevails to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
