Grächen offers sunny and wonderfully varied slopes that never become boring, surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama. The compact and easy-to-navigate ski area provides plenty of winter fun for beginners and experienced skiers alike, while children can enjoy unforgettable adventures in the unique family snow park.
There is also a fun snow park for the freestylers and daredevils among us. If you would like to test your speed, challenge yourself on the timed slalom course.

Hiking paradise
Grächen is a true hiking paradise, offering routes for leisurely walkers and experienced mountain enthusiasts alike. Follow the historic Suonen irrigation channels, hike to the idyllic Alpji or climb to the summit of the Wannihorn for breathtaking panoramic views. For a more challenging adventure, the hike to the Bordierhütte mountain hut leads you into a spectacular world of mountains and glaciers.

The famous Europaweg connects Grächen with Zermatt and rewards experienced hikers with spectacular views across the Matter Valley, dramatic ravines, peaceful larch forests and the surrounding 4,000-metre peaks. An adventurous multi-day hike that reveals the Alps at their very best.
The Tour Monte Rosa is a spectacular multi-day trek through Switzerland and Italy, circling the impressive Monte Rosa massif. The route crosses high mountain passes and passes glaciers and authentic Alpine villages, offering magnificent views of some of the highest peaks in the Alps along the way.
For true mountain enthusiasts, the two-day hike via the Bordierhütte to the summit of the Gross Bigerhorn is an unforgettable challenge. The route follows Europe’s highest marked mountain hiking trail to the summit at 3,625 metres, where a breathtaking panorama rewards every effort. This demanding Alpine hike requires excellent fitness, sure-footedness and mountain experience.
